Wednesday, July 8th will be a lunch ride to Dutch Country Restaurant in Hanover, PA. I thought it was worthy of another visit for a good home cooked lunch. Departing from the 711 in Jarretsville at 10:30am. The ride is planned to go (58 mile) out through Wiseburg, Rayville, onto Middletown Road into PA, Sticks, to MD 216, through Codorus State Park and onto Grandview Road to our destination. Char'd Barbecue and Bus Stop Lunch Ride
The lunch ride is to the “Char’d Barbeque” and “The Bus Stop”, both are at the same location. The Bus Stop sells ice cream for those who may want Barbeque type food and ice cream for lunch. This is an outdoor venue with picnic type bench seating.
Ride will take about an hour (35 miles) on beautiful county back roads.
This place has delicious Brisket!
Afterward, we will ride 27 minutes (17 miles) to Westminster to visit Bear Branch Nature Center in Carroll County for those interested in extending the days ride. Some fees or donations may apply for certain activities. Opens 12pm to 5pm Sundays.
